We had a lunch celebration for popo’s 59th birthday at Gim Tim restaurant (AMK branch).. 
Getting ready to set off!
We went to collect the bday cake before going to the restaurant and were the first to arrive.. So it’s picture time while waiting for the rest..

After lunch, i brought the kids to chill out at Stella’s place alongwith 小姨.. as hb was not feeling well, he did not join us..
I also created a milestone for myself—Drove the 2 kids out alone by myself!! Though the distant was short but it was a good start for me who seldom drive.. kekeke..
enjoying white wine with jap food bought by 小姨 and kimchi by the host..
a tired erlene taking a short nap on the sofa while the adults were chit-chatting & enjoying sammi's concert in blu ray (stella's new gadget).. lol
Left stella’s place at about 6pm for dinner at mil place..

On the actual day of our 9th ROM anniversary, hb & I went to Jack’s Place for dinner after dropping the kids off at their art class.. Enjoyed this short but happy 1hr couple time..

Initially i thought of doing away with birthday parties for the kids (haha, say only!) but since Erlene’s actual birthday falls on a Saturday, it would be such a waste not to celebrate it right? Thus we had a simple birthday celebration for Erlene with just the family..

i ordered the mini buffet set from Chilli Api.. the food were nice & well-received by the guest..
I also ordered DIY popiah from Old Long House.. My mum helped with wrapping the popiah for the guests..

Took leave to celebrate Erlene’s 4th birthday at school.. Hb drove me to collect the cake n cookies before he went to work. My mum came by to help me out.
Theme for this year~~Hello Kitty!! lol.. The cake is from Pine Garden, Lychee Martini flavor w/o Martini.. It was well received by the children, some even has second helping!
Bought these lollipop cookies from Aunty Yochana for her classmates..
Also got some rum balls for the adults for tomorrow’s party from aunty yochana.. Surprisingly erlene loves them!

Hb initiated we dine-out and i suggested Brewbaker’s at Anchorvale cc.. We brought the kiddos along.. It was lucky that we managed to get a seat since we did not made prior reservation and a long queue was formed about half hour later.. Only Valentine set menu was available for the night but overall the food was pretty decent and we enjoyed ourselves..

Our starters from d set~Clam Chowder with garlic bread & Prawn salad with fruits..
Additional side order~calamari rings..
The Cupid Mocktails~a mixed of water melon, pineapple, strawberry juice with a slice of peach.. Ervin enjoyed this drink alot n finished it up!
Hb’s main course~chicken leg & cod fish fillet combo..
For me~baked salmon & battered prawns..
Dessert n coffee from the set~the dessert was Mango & Chocolate Mousse topped with raspberry and it was surprisingly good! Kiddos loved it too..
Additional dessert i ordered for d kids~Brownie with ice cream.. They loved it too!

Hb raved about this stall at 443 Clementi.. We waited for about 20-30mins for it and the most pissing part is those who came later than us were served first!! 
Nevertheless i wasn’t very impressed with the lor mee (not becos of the long waiting time) as the ingredients were mainly fried stuff eg. fried ngoh hiang in both round and long shape, fried dumpling, deep fried you tiao etc.. Juz too many fried items! Still prefer the traditional version with sliced fish cake & hard boiled egg..
